Job summary

Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support daily routines, assist with community participation, and help individuals be as active as possible in their lives.

This full-time role includes paid New Employee Orientation, paid CPR/First Aid, and MAP training. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $19 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, grooming, and community activities.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and facilitate medication administration per plans.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans to achieve goals.
