Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help with daily living tasks, accompany them to appointments, manage community activities, and support them to be as independent as possible.

The role offers full-time hours, a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour, paid training, and a sign-on bonus of $1000 for full-time staff (and $500 for part-time).

Responsibilities

• Assist adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
• Support attendance at medical appointments, community events, and outings.
• Administer medications follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
• Follow medical guidelines and agency policies; maintain safety during emergencies.
