Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in day programs and residential settings. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to promote independence.

Location: 3030 Market St, San Diego, CA 92102. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:30am–3:00pm. Pay: $18.00 per hour. Join our mission-driven team helping clients live meaningful, empowered lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to provide person-centered support in a respectful and inclusive way.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging participation in daily activities and community outings.
• Helping individuals build relationships and develop independence.
• Documenting daily activities and progress using case management software

Working closely with a team, you will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to help individuals achieve their goals and enhance their independence.

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p

Pay: The pay for this position is $18.00 to $18.00.
