The role involves stepping in for scheduled staff when they are unavailable, with hours varying. A typical day includes assisting with daily care, leading activities, and documenting progress in case records.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting. In this role, you’ll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

In this role you will fill in for scheduled staff when they are unavailable. Example: someone is out sick or someone is on vacation.

Hours and Schedule: Vary

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65

Location: San Marcos

• Are bilingual in English and Spanish
• Have previous experience in a caregiving or teaching role
