Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support adults with disabilities in a day center setting in Chula Vista. You’ll help clients build independence, engage in meaningful activities, and develop essential life skills with a supportive team.

We value compassionate team players, strong communicators, and dependable colleagues. The role offers daytime hours Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:00pm with pay ranging from $20.00 to $20.65 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in learning life, social, and personal care skills.
• Assisting with daily needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Leading engaging group and individual activities.
• Documenting progress and ensuring accurate case records.

About the Role:

Location: Chula Vista

Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65.

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p

Requirements

• Are bilingual in English and Spanish
