Job summary

Epic Health Partners, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals in a structured residential setting for substance use recovery. This role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and fostering independence without providing personal care.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, promoting engagement, safeguarding medications, and maintaining logs. The position offers both full-time day shifts and PRN options, with benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in substance use recovery, mental health, or human services is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Current TB screening clearance.
• Strong communication, consistency, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor residents to ensure participation in daily routines and adherence to house rules.
• Encourage and redirect individuals to promote engagement and accountability.
• Support and observe the administration of medication.
• Promote a positive, safe, and recovery-focused environment; assist with recreational and community-based activities.
• Document shift activities and maintain clear communication logs.
• Report behavioral or health concerns to supervisors.
• Support meal planning and preparation.
• Perform health and safety checks.
• Maintain the cleanliness of shared program spaces.
