Job summary

Creating A Legacy Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist residents with daily living activities and behavioral support in a structured home setting.

You will work closely with the clinical team to implement IPPs, monitor health and safety, and promote independence for residents. Responsibilities include documenting progress, participating in trainings, and ensuring compliance with Title 17 and Title 22 regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on ADL support (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Support residents in daily routines and community integration.
• Implement IPPs and behavior support plans as directed by clinical team.
• Maintain a calm, therapeutic environment and observe behaviors.
• Complete progress notes and incident reports accurately and timely.
