Job summary

Bridgewell in Lynn, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical and psychiatric disabilities in daily living and community activities. You will provide skills training, support decision making, and help maintain safety and well-being while coordinating with families and care teams.

The schedule includes Sunday to Tuesday, 3:00pm–11:00pm, totaling 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based agency systems.
• Ability to drive a large wheelchair van and hold a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training in activities of daily living.
• Support people to develop independence and decision-making.
• Comply with regulatory standards and agency policies.
• Assist with medical, clinical, and financial needs.
• Transport clients to medical and community activities.
• Maintain daily progress notes and shift documentation.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Conduct required safety checks during awake overnight shifts.
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and recreation.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Maintain required training certifications (FA/CPR, PABC, MAP).
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
