Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with disabilities, providing advocacy, daily living support and community engagement. The role includes a structured schedule with paid training and a sign-on bonus.

This DSP position offers a supportive team environment, flexible part-time hours, and opportunities to help individuals grow independence, dignity, and participation in their community.

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.

• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities such as household tasks, meals, shopping, bathing and dressing.
• Support attendance at medical appointments, banking, community activities and outings.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans, and adhere to safety guidelines.
