Waystone Health & Human Services in Haverhill, MA is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join a group home team. This part-time position (25+ hours/week) offers a $21.63 hourly rate and benefits eligibility from date of hire.

You will assist individuals with daily living activities, transportation, and ADLs, document care, and support independence. Training and certifications are provided, and the role includes weekend shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to follow care plans and document services.
• Experience in training, case management, and delivering services to adults with IDs/DD in the community.
• MAP Certification; training provided within 6 months of employment; CPR/First Aid within 3 months.

Aufgaben

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, transferring, and meal preparation.
• Transport individuals to appointments, community events, or recreational activities using wheelchair-accessible vans.
• Complete ISP and daily logs, track behavioral data.
• Provide companionship, mentorship, and redirect behaviors; assist with medication administration and documentation.
