Hope Haven is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help support our clients and team members. DSPs provide support based on individual goals, ensuring physical, mental, emotional, and social needs are met. You’ll start each day with the intention to make a profound and positive difference, and you’ll end each day doing exactly that.

Hours are 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 403B retirement plan with 8% employer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in decisions.
• Valid Class driver’s license required.
• Must pass health assessment and maintain health clearance as requested.
• Clearance from all applicable background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to meet daily needs and develop relationships with the community.
• Provide training and support per the service plan, including hygiene and mealtime assistance.
• Teach self-control and self-management skills per departmental training.
• Complete client logs and charts by shift end or within 24 hours with supervisor approval.
• Assist with daily schedules and arranging appointments and transportation.
• Promote personal safety and follow all safety procedures.
