Job summary

Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. The role offers a supportive, team-focused environment with paid training and ongoing professional development.

You will provide hands-on support, assist with personal care, follow care plans, and help document progress while maintaining safety and compliance. Travel to Residential or Day programs may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Experience in disability services is a plus but not required—we train.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles may require travel and support from Residential to Day programs.
