Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity, independence, and confidence in a supportive, team-focused environment. You’ll receive paid training and opportunities for professional growth.

You’ll follow individualized care plans, assist with personal care, document progress, administer medications per policy, and promote community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—they train).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles will require travel between Residential and Day programs.
