Job summary

The Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in a structured weekday setting, with Thursday through Saturday 7a–7p shifts. The role offers hands-on care, medication administration, and community engagement in a compassionate team environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, following care plans, documenting progress, and maintaining a safe living space.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record or minimal points

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles will require travel and support from Residential to Day programs
