Job summary

Boone Supported Living provides Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to adults with developmental disabilities in the Mid-Missouri area. DSPs deliver individualized support, assist with daily living and community activities, and help clients reach personal goals.

No experience is required as paid training is provided; opportunities for wage increases and bonuses accompany a meaningful, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Reliable personal vehicle available for client transportation.
• Current automobile insurance.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Ability to pass the Family Care Safety Registry screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized support based on each person's goals and needs.
• Assisting with daily living activities and community involvement.
• Encouraging independence with compassionate support.
• Administering medications after training and per policies.
• Documenting services and progress toward goals.
• Monitoring health needs and reporting changes.
• Following individualized care plans.
• Safely transporting individuals to appointments and activities.
• Completing required documentation, mileage logs, and incident reports on time.

Current openings include evenings, weekends, and limited overnight shifts. (Day shift positions are not currently available.)

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide individualized support based on each person's unique goals and needs.

Responsibilities include:

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for employment, applicants must have:

• Valid driver's license
