Job summary

Boone Supported Living in Mid-Missouri seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily living and community activities. Paid training is provided and no experience is required.

Evening, weekend and limited overnight shifts are available. Up to $18.75 per hour plus bonuses and wage increases, with a casual, supportive work environment and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Ability to pass safety registry and background checks.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assisting individuals with daily living activities and community involvement.
• Encouraging independence while providing compassionate support.
• Administering medications after training and according to agency policies.
• Documenting services provided and progress toward individual goals.
• Monitoring health needs and reporting changes when necessary.
• Following individualized care plans.
• Safely transporting individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Completing required documentation, mileage logs, incident reports, and other records accurately and on time.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to pass the Family Care Safety Registry screening and criminal background check
