Job summary

Boone Supported Living, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help adults with developmental disabilities live more independent lives. You will support daily living activities, accompany to community events, and help individuals reach personal goals.

No experience? We provide paid training and will teach you everything you need to succeed. Earn up to $18.75 per hour plus bonuses and wage increases, with evenings, weekends, and limited overnight shifts available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Must have auto insurance and legal work authorization in the US.
• Basic computer skills and ability to pass safety screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and community involvement.
• Encourage independence while providing compassionate support.
• Administer medications after training according to policies.
• Document services and progress toward goals.
• Monitor health needs and report changes.
• Follow care plans and transport clients to appointments.
• Complete required records accurately and on time.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide individualized support based on each person's unique goals and needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting individuals with daily living activities and community involvement

• Encouraging independence while providing compassionate support

• Administering medications after training and according to agency policies

• Documenting services provided and progress toward individual goals

• Monitoring health needs and reporting changes when necessary

• Following individualized care plans

• Safely transporting individuals to appointments and community activities

• Completing required documentation, mileage logs, incident reports, and other records accurately and on time

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for employment, applicants must have:

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable personal vehicle available for client transportation

• Current automobile insurance

• High school diploma or GED

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to pass the Family Care Safety Registry screening and criminal background check
