Job summary

Boone Supported Living, LLC seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help adults with developmental disabilities live more independent lives in Columbia, MO and surrounding areas. No experience required—paid training is provided.

Earn up to $18.75 per hour with overtime, bonuses, and wage increases. Evening, weekend, and limited overnight shifts are available; day shifts are not currently offered. Join a casual, supportive team and make a meaningful difference every day.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle available for client transportation
• Current automobile insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass the Family Care Safety Registry screening and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Assisting individuals with daily living activities and community involvement
• Encouraging independence while providing compassionate support
• Administering medications after training and according to agency policies
• Documenting services provided and progress toward individual goals
• Monitoring health needs and reporting changes when necessary
• Following individualized care plans
• Safely transporting individuals to appointments and community activities
• Completing required documentation, mileage logs, incident reports, and other records accurately and on time

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide individualized support based on each person's unique goals and needs.
