Job summary

InReach in Charlotte, NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) as Independent Contractors to support an individual with developmental disabilities. The position covers 32 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9am–3pm, in the Charlotte area 28227.

Roles include in-home instruction, social role development, community integration, and transport to programs and activities. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, drug screen and background check; 1–2 years I/DD

Qualifications

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for a female Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area, 28227. Staff will provide Respite, Community Networking, and Supported Employment Services for 32 hours a week.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday: 9a-3p

Pay Rate:

• Respite: $16.07/hr.
• CN: $22.27/hr
• SE: $23.07/hr

What You’ll Do:

All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
