Job summary

InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Monroe, NC to provide companionship, care, and support for adults with developmental disabilities. This is an Independent Contractor position receiving a 1099 form and paid hourly.

Responsibilities include in-home instruction, community integration, medication dispensing oversight, and transportation to programs. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver''s license, and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• 1–2 years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) willing to make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship, care, and support.

We Need:

InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for an adult male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Monroe, NC area of Union County. Staff will provide Respite Services on Every Other Saturday (10am to 3pm).

Schedule:

Saturday (every other weekend) (10am to 3pm)

Pay Rate:

$16.07/hr.

Requirements

All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

Additional Information

This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
