Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Highland location in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This on-site, full-time role supports individuals to build independence and engage in community activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety, assisting with daily living activities, attending medical appointments, and promoting positive behavior while collaborating with care teams and community partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/ GED
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
• Shift Full-Time / Part Time including weekends and holidays.
• Possess basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 with eyes-on, one-on-one, or 15/30-minute checks.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Establish collaborative relationships built on trust and empathy.
• Foster partnerships with individuals served, the community, and professionals.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Escort to stores, events, appointments, and social activities.
