Hope Network is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time, on-site work in Rochester Hills. The DSP will provide essential personal care and community living supports to individuals with IDD and related conditions, with a 1st shift including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medically necessary personal care and community living supports.
• Assist with mobility, daily living activities, health management and community participation.
• Monitor safety 24/7 and support crisis prevention and resolution.
• Foster trustful, empathetic relationships with individuals served and professionals.
• Support community participation, transportation to activities, and independent living skills.
