Job summary

Hope Network’s Bay Haven location in St. Ignace, MI is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time 1st/2nd shift (36 hours). You will support individuals with daily living, community activities, and skills development, promoting independence and well-being.

This role requires compassion, teamwork, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, pass background checks, with CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform daily activities.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) and personal care.
• Support community outings, transportation, and activities.
• Build positive relationships and promote independence.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
