The Center for Disability Services in the Capital Region seeks a Direct Support Professional II for Residential Services to support individuals in daily living, treatment activities, and community integration.

We offer flexible scheduling (FT, PT, Per Diem), weekend options, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Applicants must have a NYS driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• NYS Driver's License required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a member of the person’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist, promote, and provide independence in daily treatment, care and services.
• Respect the person’s choices, lifestyle and dignity to take informed risks.
• Help implement personalized habilitation services outlined in the care plan.
• Assist in acquiring skills including basic activities of daily living and household management.
