The Arc of Opportunity in North Central Massachusetts is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to help people with Developmental Disabilities live full, meaningful lives. The role offers a $5,000 hiring bonus with staged payouts and a separate $1,500 referral bonus for current staff, plus strong benefits and competitive pay of $20.81–$21.85 per hour with MAP Certification.

Shifts include 3p-11p on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Competenze

• Highschool diploma or GED
• Active and valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background checks
• Ability to lift to 50lbs and sustained periods of sitting or standing
• Ability to assist in a restraint if needed
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred

• Leverage your knowledge and interests in the community to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life
• Implement Individual Service Plans
• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily living, including household tasks and chores
• Assist individuals with appointments, including driving the Agency’s van
• Present in a respectful and professional manner in all interaction
• Attend all trainings and implement knowledge throughout your work
• Communicate effectively whether orally or written
