Job summary

The Arc of Opportunity is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Leominster, MA for a part-time role with a 6 AM–9 AM, Mon–Fri schedule. The DSP supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, improving daily living skills and independence while following agency policies.

Paid training, benefits for eligible staff, and opportunities for advancement are offered. MAP Certification impacts pay rate and eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and background check are required.
• Personal vehicle may be used for work-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implement ISPs based on assessments and goals.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
• Advocate for dignity, independence and community inclusion.
• Assist in accessing community resources and opportunities.
• Perform household and maintenance duties in residential programs.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with policies.
• Attend trainings and certifications as required.
• Safely transport individuals using agency vehicles.
