Job summary

Hope Network in Michigan is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the 2nd shift. This on-site role supports individuals in daily living, mobility, health management, and community participation to build independence.

The DSP works 32 hours on the 2nd shift with weekend and holiday coverage, providing compassionate care, safety monitoring, and collaboration with the care team to implement plans and document progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with daily living activities.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.
• Shift availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 through eyes-on or checks and respond quickly.
• Assist with mobility, daily living activities, and health management.
• Build trusted relationships with individuals served and care teams.
• Support community participation and social/educational activities.
• Attend medical appointments and document care plans accurately.
