Job summary

Hope Network is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the 2nd shift on-site in Michigan. You will support individuals in daily living, mobility, health management, and community participation, while building independence and a stable routine.

This full-time role requires empathy, reliability, and strong communication. You’ll join a team dedicated to respectful, person-centered care with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtainable.
• 2 Shift Full-Time / Part Time including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety 24/7 with eyes-on, one-on-one, or short checks.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Build trust and empathy through consistent communication.
• Foster partnerships with individuals served, the community and professionals.
• Help develop problem-solving, communication, and independence skills.
• Assist individuals with social and leisure activities and daily living tasks.
• Attend medical appointments and relay information between care team and provider.
• Document care plans accurately and timely.
