Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the 1st shift in Michigan. This on-site, full-time role (32 hours) offers hands-on support to individuals, promoting independence through daily living activities, community involvement, and skill-building.

You will monitor safety, assist with personal care, accompany to appointments, and document progress. Valid Michigan driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid State of Michigan driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Commitment to full-time schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety 24/7 with one-on-one or small team checks.
• Support individuals in mobility, activities of daily living, and community participation.
• Attend medical appointments and relay information between care team and provider.
• Assist with social, leisure, and employment-related activities.
• Document care plans and progress accurately and timely.
