Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Conover, NC and surrounding areas. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

This role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement. Starting pay ranges from $15.40 to $17 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal background check, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs

Responsabilités

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Complete ongoing training and professional development
• Offer flexible schedules (full‑time and part‑time opportunities)
• Provide weekly pay and bonus opportunities (e.g., referral bonus)
• Participate in onboarding and training
• Attend company events and socialize with peer DSPs
• Discuss benefits eligibility based on hours worked
