Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Apex, NC to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

The role offers flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. A $1,000 signing bonus is available and benefits are offered based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed.
