Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Conover, NC and surrounding areas to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and helping clients live independently.

Starting pay is $15.40–$17 per hour plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments for 20+ hours/week. We offer paid onboarding and training, flexible full-time or part-time schedules, weekly pay, benefits eligibility, and opportunities

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background checks and healthcare registry.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
