Job summary

OneWell Health Care in Ohio seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in home and community settings, promoting independence, safety, and dignity.

You will support daily living, health monitoring, mobility, and social engagement, document notes, coordinate with families and care team, and participate in community activities, with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BCI/FBI checks and MVR checks; US work authorization.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals who have IDD.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living and personal care.
• Promote independence and life skills.
• Provide health monitoring and medication reminders.
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Document daily notes and GPS locations.
• Engage in community activities and social integration.
• Collaborate with nurses and supervisors.
