Job summary

OneWell Health Care seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Lorain, OH to provide person-centered assistance to individuals with IDD and Autism, enabling daily living and community participation. The DSP ensures safety, supports skill development, and maintains documentation in home and community settings.

This flexible, field-based role requires CPR/First Aid, up-to-date training, and strong communication with families and care teams, while adhering to regulatory guidelines and agency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Medication administration certification when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals with IDD and Autism.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Implement ISPs and behavior support strategies.
• Document health observations and services accurately.
