Job summary

IGHl Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in New York to model respectful care for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with ADLs, supervise daily activities, and support recreation and community participation.

The role requires guidance in daily living activities, medication administration, and documentation. You will maintain certifications and participate in ongoing training to uphold IGHL standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver’s license required.
• SCIP and Adult CPR certifications required; AMAP and SCIP training as per policy.
• Willingness to complete/additional certifications within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication per certification.
• Support ADL through guidance and hands-on assistance.
• Supervise self-care routines and transportation when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation including billing.
