Job summary

Bridgewell is recruiting a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential, community, and day program settings. The role involves daily living assistance, behavior support where needed, and coordination with guardians and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years verified experience.
• Experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Valid US driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living.
• Support people to develop independence and decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in daily tasks.
• Administer medications as per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Maintain daily progress notes and shift documentation.
• Attend staff meetings and supervision sessions.
• Other duties as assigned.
