The Verland Foundation Inc is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Hermitage, PA. This hourly, non-exempt role focuses on providing exceptional care to residents in Hasenflu House.

We offer flexible Part Time- 8 hour shifts, with weeks scheduled as Week 1 (Sat 7am-3pm), Week 2 (Thu 7am-3pm), and Week 3 (Thu 7am-3pm). Training is provided, and comprehensive benefits follow after start date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Enrich and support the lives of residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
• Introduce and encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs; record observations and daily progress notes.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene.
• Housekeeping duties as needed.
• Medication Administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
