Job summary

Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team in Hermitage, PA. This role provides compassionate, individualized care to residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual needs. Wage starts at $20.00 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Shifts are full-time (40 hours) with rotating 3pm-11pm schedules. Training is provided; background checks and drug screenings are required. Join Verland to make a meaningful impact in a supportive home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support for residents with complex needs.
• Record observations and daily progress notes; implement personalized plans.
• Plan social, home, and recreational activities in the house.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation in Verland vehicles.
• Administer medications as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
