Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. in Sewickley, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (PT/2nd) to provide exceptional care at our Main Campus. The role supports residents with complex needs, executes individualized programs, and records progress while participating in daily activities and transportation.

Shifts include Part Time- 24 hours, 6pm-6:30am on weekends. Benefits include health, dental, 403b, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and wellness resources. Training is provided at start of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents' lives in a safe, healthy environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs and record progress notes.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and transport clients to appointments.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
