Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSED preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in decisions.
• Ability to complete/pass medication administration course.
• Valid Class C driver's license required.
• Clearance from background checks as required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Proof of state minimum liability insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Support clients based on individual goals, ensuring physical, mental, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Provide support and training per service plan, including hygiene, bathing, mealtime assistance.
• Teach self-control and self-management per training.
• Complete client logs and charts within 24 hours with supervisor approval.
• Assist with daily activity schedules and transportation arrangements as needed.
• Promote safety and follow all procedures.
