Job summary

Whole Life is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team in Norwich, CT. You will assist adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement.

Role includes medication administration, documentation, safe use of equipment, and collaboration with families and managers to implement individualized care plans. Training provided and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Background check and safety clearances required.
• Must be able to pass a physical and TB test within 30 days of hire.
• Must document care in English and communicate with clients and staff in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and personal care.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs in coordination with medical staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and perform light housekeeping.
• Support clients in community activities and independent living goals.
• Document daily activities and incidents accurately.
