Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Southport, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

We offer flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, a $1,000 signing bonus, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving is beneficial but paid training is provided.
• Ability to work with individuals with IDD and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication; encourage independence.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
