Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Oak Island, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Qualifications

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and community participation.
• Document and maintain schedules and records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and safety.
• Adapt to changing routines and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Direct Support to individuals with IDD.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and daily living tasks.
• Support client participation in community activities and employment.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and skill development.
• Monitor health and safety in a supportive environment.
• Collaborate with case managers and families as needed.
• Attend ongoing training and development sessions.
• Participate in flexible schedule arrangements (FT/PT).
• Assist with documentation and scheduling.
