Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support in Oak Island, NC. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

We offer paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, a $1,000 signing bonus, and opportunities for advancement within a mission-driven company serving individuals with IDD for over 20 years.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs
• Experience with disabilities is not required – paid training provided

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication
• Encourage independence and new skills development
• Monitor health and safety in a supportive environment
• Communicate with team members, families, and case managers as needed
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Support flexible full-time and part-time schedules
