Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Wake, NC, is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in home and community settings, providing personal care and mentoring to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and a $500 sign-on bonus. Training is available, with opportunities for advancement described. Join a team that values growth and supports clients toward greater independence.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program)
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to provide clients with transportation to and from appointments, errands and community outings
• Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant highly preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Provide clients with transportation on errands, appointments and community outings
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $16/hr
• Weekly pay
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
• Options for mileage reimbursement
• $500 SIGN-ON BONUS

• $100 - Complete onboarding & orientation
• $100 - Work your first 40 hours
• $300 - After working 100 hours

That's $500 TOTAL! The more you work, the more you earn!
