Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals in Maiden, Sherrill's Ford, and Denver to help Children, Teens and Adults with disabilities live more independently. You will work one-on-one in clients' homes, providing companionship, care, and transportation to daily activities.

This role is ideal for individuals with RBT/BT or paraprofessional backgrounds, offering growth opportunities, scholarships, and development options within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD).
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Ability to provide transportation to and from appointments, errands and community outings.
• Experience as an RBT/BT/Paraprofessional or Teacher/Teaching Assistant highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Empower independence for clients and support daily living activities.
• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming) as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands and community events.
• Engage clients in hobbies and community activities they enjoy.
• Assist with meal preparation and daily tasks at home.
• Support clients in achieving goals within home and community settings.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Empowering independence
• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $15/hr
• Weekly pay
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:

• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to provide clients with transportation to and from appointments, errands and community outings
• Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant highly preferred but not required
