Job summary

Wellspring Lutheran Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals living in a Bethesda Homes residence. The role focuses on building meaningful relationships, promoting independence, and supporting daily activities with dignity and respect.

You’ll assist with personal care, meals, appointments, and community engagements, helping residents pursue goals and meaningful experiences in a supportive home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, and auto insurance may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in a residential setting to help achieve personal goals.
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and appointments.
• Administer medications and manage daily routines with dignity and respect.
• Support engagement in community activities and outings.
