Gateways to Change, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Workers to provide in-home and community-based support to adults with developmental and physical disabilities in Rhode Island. You will help individuals develop daily living and social skills, assist with transportation, personal care, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver''s license and insurance, registrations & inspection.
• Background check with no disqualifying offenses.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide In-Home and Community Based support to individuals.
• Assist individuals with achieving a variety of goals in the home and local community.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments, personal shopping, and recreation activities.
• Assist in toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
• Administration of medication (as directed).
• Cultivate safe and supportive relationships.
• Be creative, organized, and efficient.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and bring fun to the job.

We are looking for a dedicated and committed Direct Support Workers who are striving to make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. Help individuals acquire and maintain skills to improve their daily-living, and socialization skills.
