Job summary

Creative Foundations, a Help at Home company, is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. Earn $18 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires; weekend availability required and shifts vary from 7 AM–3 PM, 2 PM–11 PM, to overnight 11 PM–7 AM.

Responsibilities include daily living support, promoting independence, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and required training.
At least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

Providing one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
Assisting with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal care).
Encouraging participation in social and community activities.
Helping individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
Promoting choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
Documenting care, activities, and progress; communicating with the team.
