Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes and communities. We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay, orientation, and growth opportunities.

Starting pay is at least $17/hour, with additional variations based on care type. Applicants must be 18+, pass a background check, and complete required training. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation).
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately.
• Communicate with team to ensure consistent, quality support.
